Why I Decided To Run

My decision to run for Mayor wasn't made lightly, especially given my commitments to my two restaurants. Thankfully my husband Fabian and my children, Tom, Luis, and Carmen have taken over their management. After nearly a decade in Wickenburg, I've developed a deep love for this town. Through attending meetings and learning about our community, I've seen the potential for positive change. I believe my experience and dedication can make a meaningful difference in Wickenburg.

What I Desire To Achieve

I envision Wickenburg growing responsibly, always mindful of our citizen's tax dollars. It's crucial to preserve our small town charm and Western Heritage while addressing infrastructure needs. Fiscal responsibility and efficient town management are key to ensuring we can grow while maintaining our unique character.

As a resident, I've consistently studied agenda items and asked important questions about ongoing issues. My six decades of experience as a business owner have given me the skills and insights needed for effective leadership in this role.

I am committed to serving Wickenburg with transparency and integrity. While I may not know every law, I am fully dedicated to familiarizing myself with all relevant regulations and ensuring they are upheld according to state and federal guidlines.

As Mayor, I will ensure through consideration of all agenda items. I will set clear criteria for evaluation, including the frequency of citizen concerns and direct communication via email. My goal is to address core issues and desired outcomes, making our decision-making process transparent and community driven.
